Description of Profession
Dental assistants are in high demand, and with training and some work experience you can earn as much as $25 or more per hour!
Our dental assisting program is designed to teach you all the knowledge and hands-on skills you need to be successful on your FIRST day on the job in a modern dental office.
You will learn all clinical and administrative aspects of dental assisting, including four-handed dentistry, dental charting, x-ray procedures, orthodontics, oral surgery, equipment sterilization, scheduling appointments, insurance and billing.
Class sizes are small, so you have plenty of individual attention. Training is held in a brand new dental facility which is open 6 days a week for our students. Classes are held in the mornings, afternoons and on weekends. The program is condensed and intensive – you can complete it in just 3 months!
Our program prepares you to become X-ray Certified by taking the DANB national certification exam.

Admission Requirements
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Physical ability to perform the tasks generally required of a dental assistant.
- High school diploma or GED
- Students must also provide evidence of Hepatitis B immunization and a negative Tuberculosis (T.B.) test taken within the past year.

Full time / daytime program (7 weeks): Monday through Thursday; 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Part time / weekend program (14 weeks): Saturdays only; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
