Dental Assistant Training
Description of Profession Our dental assisting program is designed to teach you all the knowledge and hands-on skills you need to be successful on your FIRST day on the job in a modern dental office. You will learn all clinical and administrative aspects of dental assisting, including four-handed dentistry, dental charting, x-ray procedures, orthodontics, oral surgery, equipment sterilization, scheduling appointments, insurance and billing. Class sizes are small, so you have plenty of individual attention. Training is held in a brand new dental facility which is open 6 days a week for our students. Classes are held in the mornings, afternoons and on weekends. The program is condensed and intensive – you can complete it in just 3 months! Our program offers preparation assistance so you can become X-Ray Certified by taking the DANB radiation (RHS) national certification exam at a DANB certified testing center www.danb.org.
